Effective October 28, 2026. These details describe this release of Settlefy.
What the planner asks
The guided planner asks which litigation you are exploring and offers broad multiple-choice questions about connection, timing, records, existing representation, and, for some topics, a clinician conversation. These selections can reveal sensitive information. You may skip questions. The standalone planner does not request names, email addresses, detailed narratives, exact dates, medical records, or document uploads. The separate account sign-in flow asks for email and password.
My Settlefy profiles and surveys
My Settlefy lets adults select interests, follow up to eight cases, and answer optional preparation questions. Some answers reveal health or incident-related information. Answers remain in page memory until you separately agree to save. Browser saving sends the profile over HTTPS to Settlefy, encrypts it, and stores it in a secure HttpOnly cookie for 24 hours. Delete saved profile removes that cookie and resets the profile on this page. The separate one-case planner has its own saved cookie and deletion control.
Accounts and account saving
Settlefy has a dedicated Supabase backend for accounts and optional profile storage. Accounts use email verification before sign-in. Existing members can sign in with email and password. Settlefy passes credentials to Supabase Auth and stores session tokens in secure HttpOnly cookies. Email is used for authentication, not to discover your employer or health history. Choosing account saving separately sends your profile to Settlefy for encryption and database storage. Access policies restrict members to their own profile. Account profiles remain until deleted; deleting a profile does not close the authentication account. You can permanently delete your account and saved account data from the account controls in My Settlefy. For support or privacy requests, email brett@meta.clinic; do not send medical records or incident details by email.
Optional OPHealth medical records
You can connect your existing OPHealth account from My Settlefy → My profile. You sign in on OPHealth, select individual records, review their contents, and authorize a one-time copy to Settlefy. This release supports up to 25 recent clinician-signed reports and 25 saved measurements; oversized reports and other record types are omitted. OPHealth validates your own account and sends only the selected supported records through a short-lived, one-use connection. Settlefy does not receive your OPHealth password, access token, refresh token, or ongoing account access.
Selected medical content is encrypted by Settlefy before storage in its dedicated Supabase database and restricted to your Settlefy account. Settlefy’s server can decrypt this copy to display it to you. The copy remains until you remove imported records or delete your Settlefy account; deleting your saved survey profile alone does not remove medical imports. A new import replaces the previous copy. Deletion does not remove original OPHealth records or platform backups, which follow their providers’ retention policies. Imported records remain private; this connection does not send records to any lawyer, care provider, data broker, or AI service, and does not enable background monitoring, clinical inference, or automatic survey completion. Measurements may be patient-entered. A signed report label identifies its source but does not independently authenticate the signature, establish causation, or decide eligibility.
Opt-in personal radar
After saving an account profile, you can separately enable scheduled watching for its followed cases. The radar checks public source events every six hours and stores relevant updates in your private in-app inbox. You may also choose notifications about newly listed federal MDLs; these are discovery updates rather than statements about personal eligibility. No email, text or push delivery is active. Saving profile changes updates the radar watchlist. Pausing stops future inbox collection while keeping existing entries. Deleting the saved account profile removes its radar settings and inbox; account deletion also removes them.
The radar stores watched MDL numbers and monitoring choices in its own account table so the background job can compare them with public events. Unlike encrypted survey content, these watch settings are readable by the background database job and may reveal sensitive interests. Access policies restrict their use to your account and the worker. The job does not decrypt survey answers or medical content.
You can separately allow record review while using the private radar screen. This processes your already imported OPHealth copy on Settlefy’s server, using exact terms in signed-report text to suggest passages worth reviewing against the draft GLP-1 preparation map. It also organizes next steps from saved survey answers. It does not interpret measurements, infer a diagnosis, decide eligibility, automatically complete answers, send content to an external AI, or continuously retrieve OPHealth records. Clues are not saved into the background inbox. Text matching can miss context or relevant material; review the full original record with a qualified professional. Turn record review off to stop this processing in the radar view. OPHealth’s original records and clinician decisions remain independent.
Personalization and sources
Suggestions currently use your chosen interests and search terms. Case answers guide follow-up questions for that case. Two draft source maps cover GLP-1 and AFFF preparation topics; other entries use general prompts. No map has clinical or attorney approval. No AI service, employer lookup, data broker, or external personal-profile search receives your answers in this release. The optional OPHealth import is described above. No health condition, exposure, or employment is inferred from an email domain.
Updates and email
Public court-source monitoring runs automatically every six hours. It fetches official public pages and reports, without using member profiles or survey answers. The open feed refreshes every minute. Personal email alerts are not active yet. Optional radar updates appear only in the private in-app inbox. Following or saving a case is not consent to receive marketing, calls, texts, or email. Any future notification subscription and any transfer to a named law firm will require separate choices. Consumer health data is not sold or sent to lawyers in this release.
Searching and answering
The search and questions run in your browser. Search terms are not added to the URL or intentionally sent to Settlefy's search server. The pages you visit, including a litigation page number, are requested from the hosting platform. Hosting infrastructure may process IP addresses, request metadata, and operational logs. No advertising pixels, analytics, or session replay have been added.
Optional saving
Answers stay in page memory until you choose Save my plan. If you opt in, the selected plan is sent over HTTPS to a server function, encrypted using authenticated encryption, and returned in a secure HttpOnly cookie that expires in 24 hours. It is not written to an application database. The server can decrypt that cookie to restore the plan. This is not anonymous browsing, and device access still matters.
Deletion and downloads
Delete saved plan clears the current browser's saved cookie and resets the form. The cookie also expires automatically. Downloaded text files are controlled by you and may contain sensitive selections. Clearing a plan does not delete downloads, browser history, or hosting logs. Different browsers or devices have separate cookies.
Lawyers and providers
No participating law firm or care provider receives answers in this release. Choosing an optional lawyer step changes your checklist only. Before future delivery, Settlefy will identify the receiving firm, explain any paid relationship, and request separate permission. Ordinary browsing or saving does not authorize marketing calls or texts.
Support and privacy contact
Contact brett@meta.clinic for account assistance or privacy requests. Please keep your message general; do not email health records, passwords, or incident details. Settlefy’s hello@settlefy.com address is an outgoing sender.
What Settlefy does
Settlefy provides sourced litigation information and general preparation tools for adults 18 and older. It is not a law firm, medical provider, official court site, or settlement administrator. It does not provide legal or medical advice, calculate deadlines, establish eligibility, diagnose conditions, promise a cure or payout, file claims, or negotiate settlements.
Source limits
A pending MDL report is a dated federal litigation index. A listed case may be resolving, closed to new claims, or subject to individual settlements. The catalog does not establish current intake availability. The guided questions and draft source maps are preparation prompts, not court-approved eligibility criteria. Historical fact sheets may have been amended. No clinical or counsel approval has been obtained for these maps. For case-specific decisions, consult official notices and qualified professionals.
Leaving quickly
The quick-exit link opens a general weather website. It does not erase history or cookies. This website is not an emergency service.
